The system of protection of the perimeter of IR radiation "Border-3M" is designed to detect human penetration into the territory of the protected object.

The Rubizh-3M detector is designed for continuous round-the-clock operation and is designed for outdoor operation.

Detector application - blocking the outer perimeters of objects.

The Rubizh-3M detector has three operating modes:

- two-beam separate (2LO);

- two-beam joint (2LS);

- four-beam joint (4LS).

The Rubizh-3M detector publishes six types of information:

- "Penetration",

- "Fault",

- "Lock",

- "Start reducing the supply voltage",

- "No sync pulses",

- "No supply voltage".

The Rubizh-3M detector consists of five blocks:

- two blocks of radiators (BI);

- two blocks of photodetectors (BF);

- power supply and control unit (BOD).

The design of BI and BF is unified and provides rotation of blocks on an angle ± 150 ° in horizontal and on an angle ± 15 ° in vertical planes. The perimeter of the protected object must be equipped with a fence that will serve as a mechanical barrier for the intruder. On the inside of the fence it is necessary to allocate a rejection zone with a width of at least 1 m, which must be free of vegetation and other objects that prevent the passage of rays.

Detector blocks are installed on walls, special poles or racks that ensure no oscillation with an amplitude higher than 0.1 mm

To protect the detector units from unauthorized persons, it is recommended to place the units in special enclosures.

The length of the connecting cable between the BOD and BF should not exceed 5 m.

Connecting wires are laid in pipes or metal sleeves depending on the requirements of the protected object and the types of wires used.

When the meteorological visibility is less than 180 m to maintain the efficiency of the detector, the working distance between BI and BF should be reduced accordingly:

the minimum meteorological range of visibility is 1) 100 m, 2) 50 m 3) 25 m

the maximum working distance between BI and BF - 1) 215 m, 2) 110 m, 3) 55 m.

Maximum range in modes:

- two-beam separate (2LO) 600m;

- two- or four-beam joint (2LS, 4LS) 300m. Detecting beam crossing speed 5 m / s.
